Hao Zheng is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland under the supervision of Dr. Yuqian Lu. His research focuses on human-robot team coordination in a shared environment with shared value, with particular interests in robot learning from demonstration, video understanding and next-generation robot manipulation learning. He is committed to developing intelligent robot systems that can maximize the shared value through self-organizing behaviors.

Prior to arriving at the University of Auckland, Hao completed a Master’s Degree from China University of Mining and Technology. During his master’s degree, he mainly focused on the research of signal processing and computer vision, and participated in several projects founded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and some prestigious companies, e.g., Huaibei Mining Group and Shandong Lunan Group Energy Equipment Manufacturing CO., LTD. So far, he has 5 published journal papers and 5 granted Chinese patents.
